We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Finance Technician to join our successful, growing organisation. We are looking for an individual who can rise to the challenges of a busy Finance department, is able to deliver accurately and efficiently on a varied role within the business.

The position needs excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. You are likely to be AAT qualified or working towards and ideally have experience of working for a manufacturing company with an ERP system. The position will be based across our sites, in Shipton-under-Wychwood and Bourton-on-the -Water with some home working depending on the task in hand.

Overall responsibility – Provide support to the Finance Team Leader & Analyst as well as the Finance Receivables & Payables Co-ordinator to provide insights into the finance data.

  • Supplier Payment run
  • Supplier Statements reconciliations
  • Finance Receivables & Payables Cover (as above)
  • General Ledger Support – To include
  • Month end prep, such as Manufacturing variances analysis, Purchase price variances, mis postings and Inv WIP Rec journal preparation
  • Balance Sheet Control Document
  • Cost Centre Analysis Break down of codes (What’s in the GL?)
  • Project Work – GSNI, GRNI, ERP Set Up
  • Fixed Asset Register
  • External bank Reconciliations
  • Any other ad hoc duties relevant to the role
  • AAT qualified or working towards
  • ERP Experience
  • Great attention to detail
