Why Sadie makes us smile
If you are feeling a little gloomy at the start of the year, I suggest you read the latest interview with the bundle of energy and enthusiasm that is Sadie Morgan.
She is profiled in today’s Evening Standard, partly on the basis of her practice, dRMM’s Stirling Prize win for Hastings Pier and partly because of her pivotal role in today’s construction world.
She chairs the design panel for the HS2 rail link and is a design advocate for the Mayor of London. And she does this by being herself, by still being somewhat of an outsider, and by being, it seems, universally loved.
Feeling a bit gloomy? Just read the interview.
