World class product innovation marks high impact extension into contemporary design marketplace
OXFORD, 9 APRIL 2008: The Rooflight Company - the UK’s leading provider of high quality rooflights, roof windows and skylights - today announces the launch of the world’s first frameless rooflight, neo®. The launch of neo®, which is now in full production, comes in response to strong demand not only from architects and builders, but also interior designers for cutting-edge internal and external design. Today’s announcement builds on the company’s established reputation for product innovation in the conservation and contemporary sectors.
Designed from the architect’s point of view, neo® is a breakthrough innovation in rooflights and is the first product of its kind in the world. The result of three years of development by the Rooflight Company, neo® has stunning sleek lines and contemporary design, and its ultralow profile merges unobtrusively with the roof. Its world-first frameless design gives architects and interior designers alike complete freedom to innovate, complementing modern architecture perfectly.
Neo® established new levels of performance expectations whilst exceeding all BRE test requirements to BS6375: Part1: 2004. Neo® is constructed from a material called Fortecom™. All materials and processes employed in the manufacture of Fortecom™ result in a total environment impact of ‘A’ (good); as defined in the Building Research Establishment’s (BRE) Green Guide to Composites*.
Neo® is already installed in projects in Salisbury and Cambridgeshire, to high praise.
