Orchard Barn

The roof of this new-build barn in Uffington, Oxfordshire can be seen from the ancient White Horse monument two miles away. In an area of such historical importance architect Ed Clare opted for Conservation Rooflights® due to the fact that they blend successfully with the surrounding agricultural buildings. Local planners stressed their preference for rooflights of varying sizes to give the impression that the building had been altered and extended over the years. Ten Conservation Rooflights® were used, in three different sizes including the Egress option. The owner of the property, Mrs. Susan Philo said: "The rooflights complement the light, free-flowing open spaces within and we are very impressed with them."
