Round House, Derby
Refurbishment of the Grade II* listed Derby Railway Works site - including what is probably the world's very first roundhouse - is near completion and will be the new home for a significant part of Derby College. The scheme has already featured in English Heritage's recent "Constructive Conservation" book as one of 20 exemplar projects nationwide.
The Rooflight Company was responsible for the design and installation detail.These include 48 specially-designed trapezoidal rooflights for the Round House measuring on average itself, and 64 Studio Designer Rooflights.
Somerset House, London
Last century the Rooflight Company designed and manufactured 40 specially-designed Conservation Rooflights® for Somerset House. In 2009 six dark grey Plateau Rooflights measuring 600 x 1200 are currently being installed in the corridors leading to the south facing ‘Model Room' as part of a refurbishment project.

Stirling Castle
Historic Scotland has recently specified eight Plateau Rooflights and two original Conservation Rooflights® for the Palace project at Stirling Castle. This is the second project for the Rooflight Company at the castle; the first being the specification of Conservation Rooflights® for a tapestry weaving studio.

Castle Drogo, Devon
National Trust owned Castle Drogo in Devon, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and built in the early 20th century, is one of the most popular attractions of the area, and architects Harrison Sutton Partnership have been commissioned to increase the visitor accommodation by around 60%.
The building is set into natural landscape - a wooded area close to the castle itself - and has principally timber post and beam construction with glazed openings. The new design continues on this theme; however the whole building will shortly have the advantage of greatly increased natural light provided by 16 Plateau 900mm2 rooflights from the Rooflight Company.
