Why Specify the Studio Linked
and Studio Designer range?

For projects requiring a run of finely detailed low profile rooflights, the Studio Range provides the ideal solution.

Most BS colours and glazing options are available-please speak to Customer Services to discuss your requirements.

Glazing specification

The standard glazing specification is 4mm "K" toughened inner, 4mm toughened outer and 16mm argon-filled gap manufactured according to BS EN 1279. This provides an average installed U Value of 1.35W/m2 K.
If a further improved U Value is required, e.g. 1.1W/m2 K, this is readily available, in addition to 11 standard specifications including Georgian Wire Cast and Pilkington ActivTM self-cleaning glass.

There are two possibilities within the range:

Studio-Linked Range

The Studio-Linked Range provides the possibility of linking 13 sizes of standard Conservation Rooflights® in an unlimited run.
Since this is achieved by means of the 'Linking T-bar', there is no limit to the number in runs. In addition, widths can vary and all casements are openable.

Studio-Designer Range

Studio-Designer Range utilizes casements from the Conservation Rooflight range assembled
onto one single base-plate. The result is a completely seamless run of rooflights, any or all
of which can be opened. There is the possibility of 13 sizes and up to five casements per base-plate. The benefit of using one base-plate is that no rafters interrupt the internal and external appearance of the rooflight.
