Case Studies by Product Type: Skylights for Flat roofs
Clandon Park, Surrey
Architects: Fielden and Mawson
Two Pyramid 1200s were installed on this National Trust property in Surrey along with two special Lanterns. The new rooflights had to offer natural daylight and ventilation, and were also required to give the highest levels of weathertightness due to their exposed location. An additional advantage was that the inherent shape of the pyramids would shed rain and snow. The visual presence of the new rooflights on this eighteenth-century country house was minimised by selecting a close colour match to the leadwork of the roof.
