Orchard Barn
The roof of this new-build barn in Uffington, Oxfordshire can be seen from the ancient White Horse monument two miles away. In an area of such historical importance architect, Ed Clare, opted for the Conservation Rooflight ® because it helps the building blend with surrounding agricultural buildings. Local planners stressed their preference for rooflights of varying sizes to give the impression that the building had been altered and extended over the years. Ten Conservation Rooflights® were used, in three different sizes including the Escape option.
