Gate House, Hertfordshire
A Special Pyramid rooflight was manufactured to cap a gatehouse structure at the entrance to a new housing estate. The Pyramid lights and ventilates a gallery-like room within the roof whilst the installation of a CR-E1 escape rooflight also provides an alternative means of escape. The skirt of this Pyramid was crenellated to give the unit a more decorative appearance typical of the Victorian era.
