Barn Conversion, Broughton Poggs

This converted hay barn, on the former estate of a mediaeval manor posed problems for the architect with its high eaves, butt purlins and original beams. Four Conservation Rooflights®, from the Rooflight Company's range of 17 sizes, met the brief with dimensions that fitted easily into the space allocated. They brought additional light to the upper floors where other options, such as dormer windows, would have failed to meet planning regulations.
