The Nasio Trust
The Nasio Trust is a UK based charity working with orphaned children in Western Kenya.
The Nasio Trust runs two day-care centres in Western Kenya providing orphaned children with a daily meal, education, medical care and support.
In the UK their unique programme, Nasio Exit 7 offers young people the opportunity to turn their lives around through positive activities and fundraising, culminating in volunteering on Nasio Trust projects in Kenya. This two-way relationship changes lives in both communities.
The Rooflight Company have held three charity lunches in 2016 to raise money for the Nasio Trust. Organised by Commercial Director, Kester Harvey, the charity lunches have proved a popular way to raise money for vital support needed at the Nasio Trust.

The RSPCA's highly trained officers tackle neglect and cruelty at every level and are working hard to stamp out large-scale serious, organised and commercial animal cruelty.
The Rooflight Company will be donating £3000 to the RSPCA in 2016 to help fund their vital work to rescue animals and protect them from cruelty.
Against Malaria is a UK charity dedicated to protecting people from Malaria. Fundraising allows the charity to provide nets, that both adults and children can sleep under, protecting them from harmful insect bites.
Kester Harvey, Commercial Director, has been fundraising since 2010 after hearing a radio appeal whilst at home. Kester has combined his love of football with his charity interests to organise a football tournament each summer, for past and present staff of the Rooflight Company.
In the last three years the tournaments have raised £1590.64 – enough to purchase over 600 bed nets.
SeeSaw is a UK based charity based in Oxfordshire. SeeSaw was established in 2000 to meet the needs of bereaved children and young people in Oxfordshire. Since then they have supported over 4300 children, young people and their families.
The Rooflight Company will be donating £4000 to SeeSaw in 2016 to help fund training for support workers.
Help Refugees was set up to raise funds and collect goods in response to the refugee crisis. Each week the charity issue a list of items that are most needed at refugee camps across Europe.
The Rooflight Company will be donating £2000 to Help Refugees. In Calais and Dunkirk the funds go to the women and children's centre, the youth centre, the kitchens and food distribution points and we partner with French charity L'Auberge des Migrants to run the warehouse, the build team and shelter allocation programme.
Keen Oxford is a registered charity and a joint organisation of Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University. Keen provide social, sporting and recreational activities for children and adults with special needs in the surrounding area.
Keen rely on the hard work, dedication and sheer enthusiasm shown by volunteers! KEEN has only two employees: one full-time coordinator and one part-time office administrator, who are responsible for the general behind the scenes running of KEEN. The direction of the charity is shaped by a board of trustees and the coordinator is facilitated by a committee of volunteers.the UK.
